Vanuatu ready to play All Whites in Hamilton, coach says

New Zealand will host Vanuatu in a football friendly in Hamilton next month.

Vanuatu coach Etienne Mermer says his team is looking forward to playing the All Whites in front of a home crowd.

"It's a great opportunity for us to test ourselves against a top-ranked team," Mermer said.

The match will be played at FMG Stadium Waikato on March 24.

It will be the first time the two teams have met since 2017, when the All Whites won 5-0.

New Zealand are currently ranked 105th in the FIFA World Rankings, while Vanuatu are ranked 163rd.

The match will be a good test for both teams as they prepare for the OFC Nations Cup, which will be held in June.

The All Whites are the defending champions of the OFC Nations Cup, while Vanuatu will be looking to make a strong impression.
