YouTube TV rival to launch with Discovery, AMC, and Bloomberg
A streaming bundle competitor to YouTube TV is in the works, according to a report by The Information.
The service is said to be backed by Discovery, AMC, and Bloomberg and is expected to launch in November.
The new streaming bundle is expected to be priced at $20 per month and will include a variety of channels from Discovery, AMC, and Bloomberg, such as Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, AMC, BBC America, IFC, and Bloomberg TV.
The service will also include a number of on-demand content from the three companies, such as full seasons of popular shows like "Fixer Upper," "The Walking Dead," and "The Daily Show."
The launch of a new streaming bundle from Discovery, AMC, and Bloomberg is a sign of the growing competition in the streaming market. In recent years, a number of new streaming services have been launched, including Disney+, HBO Max, and Peacock.
These services have been competing with traditional cable and satellite TV providers for viewers, and the launch of a new streaming bundle from Discovery, AMC, and Bloomberg is likely to further intensify the competition.
The new streaming bundle is expected to launch in November. It will be available on a variety of devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.
