WCA Concerned and Monitoring Over Threatening and Intimidatory Behaviour by Countries Who Have Yet to Pay Players
World Curling Federation Vigilantly Observing Situation Relating to Unpaid Players
WCF Will Not Allow Harassment or Threats to Go Unchecked
The World Curling Federation (WCF) has expressed concern and is closely monitoring the situation regarding unpaid players in certain countries. The WCF strongly condemns any threatening or intimidatory behaviour directed towards these players.
The WCF has received reports of players being subjected to verbal abuse, threats, and other forms of harassment because their countries have not yet fulfilled their financial obligations. This behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The WCF has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment or intimidation. The WCF will take all necessary steps to protect its players and ensure that they are treated with respect. The WCF will also work with the relevant authorities to investigate any reports of threatening or intimidatory behaviour.
The WCF urges all countries to comply with their financial obligations to their players. The WCF will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action to ensure that the rights of players are protected.
