WALE ANNOUNCES “GIFTED WEEK" IN D.C.

Three-day event
Washington, D.C. rapper Wale is gearing up to launch “Gifted Week,” a three-day event in the nation’s capitol.
The festivities will be held from August 25-27 and aims to give back to the community, provide resources, and celebrate Wale’s artistry.
The rapper’s charitable side
Wale has always been one to give back to his community. Through his foundation, the “Gifted Hands Foundation," he has been able to give back to the D.C. area in various ways.
Events scheduled
This year, Wale is taking things to the next level with “Gifted Week." The goal of the event is to provide resources to the community and celebrate Wale's artistry.
“Gifted Week” will feature several events such as a back-to-school drive, a community cookout, and a pop-up shop featuring Wale's merchandise.
There will also be a special performance by Wale on the final day of the event.
Hoodies and other items for sale
In addition to the events, Wale will also be releasing some limited-edition items, including hoodies and other merchandise.
The proceeds from the sales of these items will go towards supporting the “Gifted Hands Foundation” and its programs.
