Jackson and Echeverria Give Their Thoughts on the Main Event

Jackson and Echeverria both agree that Masvidal vs. Edwards is a great matchup. They both believe that Masvidal is the more experienced fighter, but that Edwards has the potential to win if he can keep the fight standing.

Jackson said, "I think Masvidal is going to win this fight. He's got more experience and he's a better striker. But Edwards is a tough guy and he's got some good wrestling. If he can get Masvidal down, he could submit him."

Echeverria agreed, saying, "I think Masvidal is going to win, but Edwards is a dangerous fighter. He's got some good power and he's very athletic. If he can catch Masvidal with a clean shot, he could knock him out."

Jackson and Echeverria Preview the Rest of the Card

In addition to the main event, Jackson and Echeverria also preview the other fights on the UFC 309 card. They discuss the co-main event between Kevin Holland and Tim Means, as well as the other fights on the main card and the prelims.

Jackson said, "I'm really looking forward to the Holland vs. Means fight. I think Holland is a rising star and I think he's going to win this fight. But Means is a tough veteran and he's not going to go down without a fight."

Echeverria agreed, saying, "I think Holland is going to win, but Means is a tough guy. He's got some good wrestling and he's very durable. If he can get Holland down, he could submit him."

At the end of the podcast, Jackson and Echeverria give their predictions for the main event between Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards.
