Three UND basketball players look forward to homecoming
UND women's basketball players return home to face Drake
For UND's three Iowa natives, Saturday's women's basketball game against Drake will be a homecoming of sorts.
Senior forward Lexi Klabo is from Clear Lake, Iowa, while junior guard Maggie Manson is from Ankeny, Iowa, and freshman guard Joelle Harshbarger is from Johnston, Iowa.
All three players are excited to play in front of their family and friends at the Alerus Center.
Hometown support
"It's always special to play in front of your hometown crowd," Klabo said. "I have a lot of family and friends coming to the game, so it's going to be a lot of fun."
Manson agreed, saying, "It's always great to play in front of your hometown crowd. I have a lot of family and friends coming to the game, so it's going to be a lot of fun."
Harshbarger is looking forward to playing in front of her family for the first time since she joined the UND women's basketball team.
Excited for the game
"I'm really excited to play in front of my family," Harshbarger said. "I know they're all going to be there, so it's going to be a lot of fun."
All three players are confident that UND can get a win against Drake.
"We're playing really well right now," Klabo said. "We're confident that we can go out there and get a win."
Manson added, "We're playing really well as a team right now. We're all really excited for this game."
Harshbarger is also confident in UND's chances of winning.

Game time
The game is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. at the Alerus Center.
