Cardinal defense forces six turnovers in 42-10 victory

The Stanford Cardinal remain unbeaten on the season after a 42-10 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Saturday night in Palo Alto, Calif.

Stanford's offense struggled early on, punting on its first three drives of the game. Cardinal quarterback Tanner McKee threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions.

Stanford finished with 422 yards of total offense including 248 through the air and 174 on the ground. Running back E.J. Smith rushed for 95 yards on 15 carries and scored a touchdown.

With the win, Stanford improves to 3-0 on the season. The Cardinal will host Oregon next Saturday night at Stanford Stadium.
