Spalletti sees 'important things' in Belgium defeat as Italy boss issues warning
Italy boss Roberto Mancini warned Belgium that they will face a 'tough' game when the two sides meet in the Nations League later this month, after watching his team sweep aside the world's second-ranked side 2-1 in Brussels
The Azzurri were not at their best for long periods at the King Baudouin Stadium, but a goal from Nicolo Barella and a penalty from Lorenzo Pellegrini earned them a first win of their Nations League campaign.
And Mancini was particularly pleased with what he saw from his team in defence, especially after watching Belgium carve through the Netherlands 4-1 on Friday.
"It was a good test for us, against one of the best teams in the world," Mancini said. "We suffered a bit in the first half, but in the second half we did important things. We could have scored three or four more goals."

Italy will now face Belgium in the Nations League on June 14, and Mancini is confident that his team can get a result.
"We know that it will be a tough game, but we are confident," Mancini said.
"We have a lot of quality, and we are starting to find our form. We are excited for the challenge."
