Stanford Cardinal Soar to Victory with Raynaud's Stellar Performance

On Monday, January 2, 2023, the Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team secured a dominant 90-64 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at Maples Pavilion. The triumph was fueled by a remarkable performance from sophomore guard Michael Raynaud, who recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Raynaud's contributions extended beyond the stat sheet, as he orchestrated the Cardinal's offense with precision, dishing out 5 assists. His leadership and playmaking ability were crucial to Stanford's success.

The Cardinal shot an impressive 50% from the field, connecting on 34 of their 68 attempts. They also dominated the boards, outrebounding Northern Arizona 40 to 29. Forward Harrison Ingram made significant contributions, adding 17 points and 6 rebounds.

Northern Arizona struggled to find an offensive rhythm, shooting only 36% from the field. Although Jalen Cone led the Lumberjacks with 15 points, Stanford's defense held the team to just 24 points in the second half.
