NAU Basketball Falls 90-64 at Stanford
Lumberjacks Drop 2nd Straight on Road Swing
NAU's losing streak reached two games as they fell on the road to Stanford on Tuesday night, 90-64.
The Lumberjacks (3-5) were led by Jalen Cone's 17 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome a hot-shooting Stanford (5-2) team that hit 14 three-pointers.
NAU trailed by just six points at halftime, but the Cardinal pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Lumberjacks 50-34.
Cone was the only NAU player to reach double figures. Cameron Shelton added nine points, while Carson Towt and Nik Mains each had eight.
Stanford was led by Spencer Jones' 20 points. Harrison Ingram added 19 points, while Bryce Wills had 16.
The Lumberjacks will return to action on Saturday when they host Cal Poly.
