Julio Cascante to Join Costa Rica for November Matches

Costa Rica head coach Luis Fernando Suarez has called up defender Julio Cascante to the national team for the upcoming November friendly matches against Nigeria and Colombia.
Cascante has been in impressive form for his club, Saprissa, this season
The 25-year-old center-back has started all 10 of Saprissa's league matches this season, helping the team to the top of the table. He has also scored two goals and provided one assist.
Cascante's inclusion in the national team is a reward for his hard work and dedication
The defender has been a consistent performer for Saprissa over the past few seasons, and he has earned the trust of Suarez. Cascante's call-up is also a testament to the depth of Costa Rica's defensive options.
Costa Rica will face Nigeria on November 10th and Colombia on November 14th
Both matches will be played in San Jose, Costa Rica. These games will be an important test for Costa Rica as they prepare for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
