Bam Adebayo proved to be the difference-maker for Miami, leading all scorers with 21 points and adding 12 rebounds in a phenomenal performance that included showcasing his impressive post moves and finishing through contact.
Both teams had their fair share of key players stepping up, with Heat's Gabe Vincent matching Adebayo's scoring output and Kyle Lowery contributing 19. The Sixers received 19 points from Joel Embiid, along with 18 points from Tobias Harris and 17 from Tyrese Maxey.
In a back-and-forth contest marked by several lead changes and fierce battles, Miami's defense ultimately shined through in the final stretch, highlighted by two crucial blocks by Adebayo.
