‘Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking’: Food Network TV Show Cast, Hosts & Judges Revealed (Including Several ‘Harry Potter’ Movie Stars!)

Muggle bakers watching Food Network’s new ‘Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking’ are in for a magical treat with the upcoming series’s star-studded cast, including fan favorites from the ‘Harry Potter’ film franchise.

The Show’s Hosts

‘Wizards of Baking’ will be hosted by Jason Segal, the star of ‘How I Met Your Mother.’ Avid baking fans may also recognize him from his role as a guest judge on a previous season of ‘Nailed It!’

Co-hosting alongside Segal will be actress and certified “Potterhead” Katie McGrath, best known for her roles in the ‘Merlin’ series and ‘Jurassic World.’

The Culinary Cast

Several cast members who played students at Hogwarts will be judging the magical baking creations in the competition. This includes Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), who also appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2020; Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom); and James Phelps (Fred Weasley).

More experienced contestants may recognize two popular ‘Top Chef’ alumni who will also be judging: Melissa King (season 12 winner) and Gregory Gourdet (season 16 finalist).

The Magical Competition

During the four-episode series, 12 bakers will compete in various challenges with a magical twist. Each episode will have a special theme, such as ‘Hogwarts through the Ages’ and ‘The Ministry of Magic’.

Contestants will face magical baking obstacles and illusions, and must use their skills to conjure desserts worthy of the enchanting world of Harry Potter.
