Fulwiley, Kitts Lead No. 1 South Carolina to 41st Straight Win 92-60 Over Coppin State

No. 1 South Carolina women's basketball team extended their winning streak to 41 games with a 92-60 victory over Coppin State on Wednesday night. The victory is the longest winning streak in program history and is tied for the fifth-longest active streak in Division I.
Destanni Henderson led the way for the Gamecocks with 20 points, while Aliyah Boston added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Brea Beal also chipped in with 17 points.
Coppin State was led by Jalyah Green's 17 points.
Dominant Performance
South Carolina was in control of the game from the opening tip, building a 20-point lead in the first half and never looking back.
The Gamecocks shot 50% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range, while Coppin State shot just 34.8% from the field and 22.2% from three-point range.
South Carolina also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding Coppin State 44-32.
Impressive Streak
South Carolina's 41-game winning streak is the longest in the country and is the longest in program history.
The Gamecocks have not lost a game since a 73-67 defeat to Stanford on November 28, 2021.
South Carolina is now 12-0 this season and is the only remaining undefeated team in Division I.
Next Up
South Carolina will return to action on Sunday, December 18, when they host No. 12 Virginia Tech.
The game will be a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 matchup, which South Carolina won 66-45.
The Gamecocks will be looking to extend their winning streak to 42 games and continue their dominance in the SEC.
