England held to 0-0 draw by Greece in UEFA Nations League

England were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by Greece in their UEFA Nations League match at the Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion on Tuesday.

The Three Lions dominated possession and created a number of chances, but they were unable to find a way past the resolute Greek defense.

The result leaves England bottom of Group C3 with two points from three games, while Greece move up to second place with four points.

Lee Carsley: "We're disappointed with the result"

England assistant manager Lee Carsley admitted that the team were disappointed with the result.

"We're disappointed with the result, but we can't fault the effort of the players," Carsley said.

"We created a number of chances, but we just couldn't find the back of the net.

"We'll learn from this and come back stronger in the next game."

What's next for England?

England will host Italy in their next UEFA Nations League match at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton on Saturday.

The Three Lions will then travel to Germany for their final group match on Tuesday.
