Craig Melvin to Join Savannah Guthrie as TODAY Show Co-Anchor

NBC News made the announcement today that Craig Melvin will join Savannah Guthrie as co-anchor of the TODAY show.

Melvin will begin his new role on Monday, Aug. 28. He will continue to anchor MSNBC's "3rd Hour of TODAY" and host "Melvin on MSNBC."
