Bailey excited ahead of Reggae Boyz return at National Stadium

Former Reggae Boy hopeful of victory against Nicaragua

Former Reggae Boy Ricardo "Bibi" Gardner has expressed excitement ahead of the Reggae Boyz's return to the National Stadium for their CONCACAF Nations League match against Nicaragua on Tuesday, March 28.

Gardner, who represented Jamaica at the senior international level from 1997 to 2012, believes the team has a good chance of securing a victory in front of their home crowd.

Jamaica looking to extend unbeaten run

The Reggae Boyz are currently unbeaten in their last three matches, having recorded two wins and one draw.

They will be looking to continue their good form against Nicaragua, who are ranked 139th in the FIFA World Rankings, 61 places below Jamaica.

Jamaica will be without the services of several key players for the match, including Leon Bailey, Ravel Morrison, and Kemar Roofe.

However, Gardner believes that the team has enough quality to overcome the challenge of Nicaragua.

Bailey set to make return

One player who is expected to make his return to the Jamaica squad is Leon Bailey.

The Aston Villa winger has been out of action since October with a thigh injury.

His return will be a major boost for the Reggae Boyz, who will be looking to secure a victory and move closer to qualifying for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
