"We're very happy with the win," said China head coach Li Tie.
"We knew that Bahrain would be a tough opponent, but we played well and deserved the victory.

Bahrain head coach Helio Sousa was disappointed with the result, but he praised his team's effort.
"We played well, but we made one mistake and it cost us the match," said Sousa.
"We're still in the race for qualification, and we will fight until the end.
